About Me
Hello, thanks for checking out my site! I am a software engineer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota where I worked in the hospitality industry for many years. One thing I’ve always enjoyed is solving problems. I loved leveraging technology to increase efficiency and profitability at my restaurants, and I loved solving guests’ problems. So a few years ago I decided to go back to school and get a software development degree. While in school I interned with WindowMirror where I learned about the importance of good design and sound engineering. In the spring of 2019 I moved to San Fransisco to attend a thousand-hour intensive full-stack software engineering bootcamp called App Academy. I learned how to build full-stack apps from scratch using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, AWS, Mongo, Express, and Node.js. I am currently learning how to develop native apps for IOS using Swift. When I’m not coding I enjoy cooking, paddleboarding, and playing with my dog Tommy.
